The anti-inflammatory power of CBD

There is a wide range of medications in the market to relieve pain, but have you ever considered a more natural alternative? In the case of prolonged inflammation (e.g., chronic inflammation), but also in the short term, cannabidiol (CBD) may be a natural solution to consider.1 According to a 2019 study, CBD has very significant analgesic properties.2

Relieving pain with CBD

It has been shown that cannabinoids can exert a wide range of therapeutic effects, and thus CBD has potent anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities. CBD acts directly on the endocannabinoid system to modulate the tolerable limits of all forms of pain. For example, it would be very effective against chronic pain, muscular pain, tendinitis, inflammatory bowel diseases or even endometriosis.3

In the case of endometriosis, specifically, a disease ignored for too long, the active principle of CBD could alleviate its symptomatic pain, by acting on the endocannabinoid system. It prevents cell migration, reduces pain, relieves nausea and calms anxiety4.

A safe anti-inflammatory

CBD can considered a safe and natural substance without particular or serious side effects. Moreover, CBD can be an alternative to the prolonged use of corticosteroids in cases of the most severe inflammatory diseases.
